White Tigers Find New Momma!!

When hurricane Hannah separated two white tigers from their mother, Anjana came to the Rescue. Anjana, a chimp at TIGERS in South Carolina, became surrogate mom and playmate to the cubs, even helping with bottle feeding, according to The Sun). But here's the truly amazing part: Anjana does this all the time, having raised leopard and lion cubs.

The End of a very Fun Night

VBS and the Horses

All last week at Sue’s house the three younger kids went to VBS and I had been hearing about one of two Pastors who was going to have to kiss a horse. Whichever group won in giving the most money the boys or the girls that Pastor would be doing the kissing. They were raising money for children in Africa who needed nets to keep the mosquitoes out. I wanted to see this horse Ezekiel was telling me all about all week.

I went early and ask Pastor Steve if they were going to kiss a real horse. He said yes the horse was outside and they would be doing that ceremony around 12:00 pm. Outside there was a miniature horse with kids gathered all around.

When I got back at 11:30 there was a big horse giving all the children a ride. Here you see some very happy children.

I wonder who will kiss the horse? It’s a tie they both have to kiss the horses. They raise over seven hundred dollars.
